If you’re looking to reduce costs on your new gutter , you can certainly install them yourself. It is easy enough to do, particularly if you have a helping hand or two. Here’s how to do it. 1. Start by measuring . Measure from inside the trim board, to the corner and to other trim boards 2. Start cutting your gutters by putting the end-cap on one end using sealant inside the cracks, and tapping gently with a hammer to get it firmly in place. Use a crimping tool to pinch the ends to keep it in place. There should be a little dimple at the top and bottom when you’re done. 3. Measure for the length of the gutter piece you will be installing. Be sure, be accurate. Measure twice cut once. 4.
